Crag Cottage has a direct sea view. King Street and Crag Path are very quiet with little traffic. There is car parking
immediately in front of Crag Cottage. Aldeburgh has a selection of excellent restaurants. There is also a country club
at Thorpeness for tennis and golf, with other golf courses at Aldeburgh and Southwold.
Set on the Suffolk coast in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, there are many walks either immediately from Crag
Cottage, or just a short drive away. Guests will find maps and details of the owners’ favourite walks in the cottage.
The Alde estuary provides excellent sailing, with outstanding nature reserves at Minsmere and Dunwich for walking
and bird watching. Snape Maltings, venue of the Aldeburgh Festival, has regular concerts and also a number of craft
shops and restaurants.

Crag Cottage looks out from the Aldeburgh sea front over the North Sea and is
attractively furnished with many antiques and original artworks. Recently
renovated and fully equipped, the cottage comfortably sleeps four.
Ground Floor
Kitchen/dining room with gas cooker, dishwasher, fridge and microwave,
internet radio with Bluetooth. The house is equipped with ample cooking
utensils, cutlery and attractive china.
Bathroom with WC, basin and large ‘wet room style’ shower. There is also a
washing machine hidden away in a built-in cupboard.
Twin bedroom with door to small yard and line for drying clothes.
First Floor
Sitting room with French windows and sea view. Comfortable arm chairs and a
cosy ‘knole’ sofa. There is also a widescreen TV with Roku streaming stick, DVD
player with a collection of DVDs, a small library of books and wi-fi internet usually
50-60Mbps broadband. There is also a desk which pulls out from a bureau
bookcase if you want to use your PC.
At the rear a Double bedroom with en suite WC and basin. This has a comfortable double bed.
